July 2012 may officially go down as the busiest month on record for our family. What started with a whirlwind of Owens birthday and family visiting, then led to our 10th wedding anniversary and a celebration, ended up with trips to Pennsylvania, Sandy Point Maryland, and the Eastern Shore. It was a blast though, and I think we're all still recovering!
The beginning of the end of the month was a girls trip to Bedford Springs Pennsylvania to spend the night at the wonderful Bedford Springs Resort & Spa
I love these ladies more then words can say!
I drove back to DC super early Sunday morning to get to church, and then we packed up the kids and headed to Sandy Point State Park in Maryland for NCC's annual Baptism By The Bay.

We drove home Sunday night only to pack up and leave again Monday afternoon to head to the Eastern Shore for the NCC Staffs annual Pray and Play getaway.
...we prayed...and played...
The kids caught toads
We ate breakfast on the sun porch
The boys went kayaking
The kids ran barefoot all around the grounds and we sometimes didn't see them for hours
We walked the pier
Took pictures on the hammocks
And snapped a family photo before heading out.
We hit up Ava's on our way out of town where I had amazing Basil Lemonade
and yummy blue cheese potato chips
And thanked these guys for being such troopers! What an awesome summer, and its not even over ;)
