Since the day Owen was born, Grandma Bonnie, Grandpa Steve and Aunty Laurie have been with him every year on his special day. This year, they arrived in Virginia on his birthday and stayed for almost a week! We had so much fun and so many spontaneous adventures (Ben's Chili bowl at 9pm on a Sunday? Why not!?)
We had candles and ice cream the night Owen turned 5
And ate breakfast at Ted's
We played around the house
And spent an afternoon at the Air & Space Museum (Owen's fav)
(thank goodness for Aunty Laurie to take Owen on the simulator!)
Owen rode everywhere with Grandma & Grandpa
And we spent some time in the pool
And in case you thought I was kidding about Ben's Chili Bowl at 9pm on a Sunday night...I wasn't!
