Classroom Visits

Since Owen started school in September there have been several times when we've been invited to his classroom for fun events. Because the school is in a very busy part of Old Town and parking is at a premium most of the time the school has curbside drop off and pick up. The kiss & ride option is really great, but its also challenging because that means the parents are never in the classroom. So Owens teachers invite us all in once a month to check out the art work, to be in the classroom with the kiddos and to get a chance to see the day-to-day stuff.

In September we were invited to hear about their handwriting program and see how they are learning to properly write through songs and art.

September was "All About Me" Month

In October we were in Owens classroom during his class Halloween party and parade which you can read about here.

And in November they had a Friendship Gathering because they were learning all about Thanksgiving, family & friends, and being thankful. Each child brought in their favorite fruit and mixed it all together to make a fruit salad to share.

We're looking forward to more class visits in the coming months! What a blessing Owen's school has been this year!
