Thomas 2011

Back in May we made our annual pilgrimage up to B&O Train Museum to spend the day with Thomas the Tank Engine. This was our third year going (read about our 1st and 2nd trips) and so far Thomas has not disappointed! There is just so much to do and see, and Owen also really enjoys spending time looking at the models and old train cars scattered about the museum grounds.
Our boarding time was at 10am and Owen was excited to hop aboard Thomas for the 20 minute train ride...
After our train ride we had some time to play before lunch. Owen really loved the bounce houses and would have stayed in them all afternoon. After some coaxing I got him to away from there and over to the pony rides. Despite his sour face, he really did enjoy riding and wanted to go again when his turn was over.
Our final and favorite stop of the afternoon was the child-sized train ride that goes around a little town. Owen waited patiently for his turn and was thrilled to be the first in line for his turn so he could take the front car and be the conductor.

What a day! So much fun, so many memories! We are already dreaming of what next year's Day Out With Thomas will hold :)
