This month Owen's class got to raise caterpillars and watch them build their chrysalis's and ultimately change into butterflies. At the end of this week they had a wing parade and butterfly release which we were invited to attend. It was so fun to watch the kids parade down the streets of old town donning wings and antennae and they were all so excited to see the butterflies flutter off into the sky on the playground.
We have been so blessed by Owen's school and his teachers and everyone that has made his Pre-K experience at Washington Street so wonderful. We are going to miss this school so much, but we're hopeful Peyton will get to go someday too!
