Easter was super busy and oh so fun this year! Grandma & Grandpa and Aunty Laurie were here for the weekend and got to come along on all of our Easter adventures. Saturday was filled with all things EGG- from the EGGstravaganza to Egg dying, it was quite the EGGciting day ;-)
Heading out to Peyton's first Easter EGGstravaganza
First stop, getting a balloon
Second stop, bounce house
Then Daddy went to help spread out some eggs
And we anxiously waited for the hunt to start
I didn't get any good pictures of the egg hunt, but please believe me when I say it was cra-zy! Owen ran straight to the middle of the field and started scooping up his eggs. We lost him in the sea of preschoolers, but when he was done collecting he ran right back over to where we were and started checking out his loot.
Before leaving we had to stop and get face painting...a blue egg on his hand is just what he wanted
Back at home it was time for some egg dying. Owen helped Aunty Laurie get the colors ready
And colored an entire dozen eggs
