On March 6th Peyton turned 5 months old! We have no doctors appointment this month so there are no stat updates, but she sure has grown a lot these past 4 weeks.
Peyton loves to be upright now, either propped up or sitting in her bumbo seat and loves to be a part of the action. She can sit on her own on the floor for about 3 seconds before toppling over but is getting stronger everyday. She still thinks her brother is the greatest thing ever and loves for him to entertain her. She will laugh and laugh at him and the more she laughs, the more he hams it up for her. She has been eating her hands like crazy and puts everything in her mouth. Recently, she figured out how to spit and blow raspberries and for a few days became obsessed with it. Instead of crying in her carseat when she was angry, she would just spit longer and harder. Thankfully she is starting to find other things that fascinate her too such as watching her hands and wiggling her feet and learning how they move. She watches us put food and drinks in our mouth and is getting very interested in what we are doing when we're eating. Just a few short weeks and she'll be trying her own first foods!
