This year I entered our family into an online lottery to try to get tickets for the 2011 Easter Egg Roll on the White House South Lawn. We won the tickets and were excited to get to enjoy the White House Egg Roll for a second time since moving here. The first time we went Owen was only 9 months old and couldn't quite appreciate the excitement surrounding him. This time we got to enjoy some of the characters in attendance and participate in a game or two.
Such a cool once in a lifetime experience (or twice for us)...and as my friend put it, between the crowds and lines, we hope to only experience it once in a lifetime! HA!
