Snow, snow, snow was the theme of Christmas 2009. We loved it for 2 reasons: #1, we hardly ever get any snow in VA so to have snow-a-geddon happen the very weekend that we were celebrating Christmas was just awesome. And #2, the rest of the snowfall happened in IL, which we love, because we can turn around and leave it a week later :)
While we were in IL, Owen went sledding for the first time and loved it! With each pass down the hill Robert was met with a resounding "Lets do it again, dad!" And despite the fact that it was in the teens outside, it could not have been more fun!
We also didn't let all of this young excitement for the cold and snow go to waste, oh no, we put him to work-
(When looking at these pictures later, Owen, being the awesome city kid that he is, said "Look mom, I shoveling Grammas parking lot!")
