???

I know that preschool age children are notorious for their relentless questioning and Owen has now entered into this new realm of curiosity. From the backseat of the car we typically hear a stream of questions such as-
Did you see that Mama?
Whats that Mama?
Where going Mama?
You hear that Mama?
Look Mama!
Going home Mama?
Whats daddy doing?
Hear musics Mama?
...I think you get the idea. I love that he is so curious and also so aware of his surroundings. A few weeks ago we were in the car and Owen declared from that backseat that we were in Shirlington and we should go get mooshies (smoothies). He was right, we were in Shirlington, but smoothies were a last minute addition to the agenda that day :)

Another classic question we've been hearing is "Whatcha got there?" He asks all the time weather we are eating something he has never seen before or doing something simple like writing with a pen, its always "Whatcha got there Mama?" Yesterday he was playing with his African animals set and as he pulled each one out of the bag he told me "Look me got here Mama! A Elephant! Look me got here Mama, a Hippo! Look me got here Mama, a Giraffe!"

I sometimes wish I could bottle up his little voice and keep it forever, or send it to people who could use a smile, because no matter what mood you are in, when you hear that little voice say, "I wauv you Mama," you can't help but melt!
