After the craziness of our travel home from IL at Christmas, its really a shock that we turned around three weeks later and got on another plane! Thankfully, this airport trip was uneventful and kicked off a super fun weekend taking in the sights of Boston!
Sometime after we got home from our cruise in October we decided we needed to plan another trip with the Smiths. MLK weekend in January sounded perfect and we were able to score great hotel and airfare deals, so why not we thought...
Well, after walking the city in single digit temps and enduring snow piles and wind, we figured out why things were so cheap...because WHO THE HECK GOES TO BOSTON IN JANUARY!?
It was still a really fun time, and the kids were such troopers and especially enjoyed that we had adjoining rooms for them to run back and forth from :)

Excited to be getting on a plane together

Ready to make the trek to the hotel from the airport

Tired after a long morning of travel

Our first stop for lunch before our Fenway Park tour

That night we let the kiddos have a little fun at the Boston Children's Museum
This was the bubble room...

Here you could lay on the floor and watch sea turtles in their tank
Robert thought this would be a safe bet...until...
Eyes on the road kid!
The next day it was off to Sam Adams Brewery

We hit up Cambridge and walked on campus at Harvard

We were all pretty exhausted by the end of the trip, but it was so fun!
