At the end of May Aunty Laurie came out to kick off the summer with a week of fun in Virginia! Her arrival was highly anticipated by Owen and in the days leading up to it he was talking about the games they would play and the things they would do together. Less then 2 hrs after landing at BWI we dragged her along to our small group picnic by the waterfront in Old Town Alexandria. Owen and Laurie played frobee (frisbee) and ran around in the grass while we picnic-ed and spent time with our friends.
Unfortunately, those are the extent of the pictures from her visit with us because 3 days before she was set to leave, we got food poisoning and spent the remainder of her trip curled up in little balls on the couch. We did manage to get out one last time and take a few shots down at National Harbor by the Awakening.
